Ceramics Classes at the Swedish school
Have you ever dreamt about taking a potter's wheel throwing class or making ceramic art? Or do you already have experience and want to improve your pottery skills?
Handmade ceramics are thousands of years old and for us it represents an art with endless opportunities where nothing is right or wrong. Joy, curiosity and relaxation are the keywords at the pottery school. Our intention is that you as a participant will experience this and much more. All classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced potters. In each class we will have a "tea and cake break" since we value togetherness in the group. A warm welcome to the world of pottery.
We are joyfully offering the following classes:

Try the potter’s wheel 1
Have you always wanted to have a go on the potter’s wheel? Now you, your child, nd everyone you know has the chance to try out what it’s like to throw pots. After a short introduction and demonstration by Frida, all participants get access to their own potter’s wheel and the creative flow can begin. This is a “try on” which means that the used clay will be recycled, and no pots will be saved. Children are welcome from the age of 6.

Course leader
Frida Giove started her ceramics journey in 2016 in Gothenburg, Sweden. She didn't know at that time what a huge impact the clay would have in her life. Through various courses, private lessons and by being an apprentice to a recognized potter, her great passion for ceramics was awakened. In the summer of 2022, she had her first exhibition. Frida has in all her professional life worked with people and she is used to leading groups in an inspiring and educational way.
